Air Max 1 ‘86 Campaign

For Air Max Day, this project explored Nike’s early misstep with the Air Max 1 ‘86, transforming it into a story of "failing forward." Through the Please Read First zine, we spotlighted community prodigies like Joshua Jarvis, founder of Wing Shack, who turned his life around after incarceration and now employs ex-offenders in his successful business.

The campaign focused on sharing authentic stories of resilience, emphasising growth through adversity, and giving back to the community. With in-person activations such as workshops and meal donations, alongside a bold, experimental zine design, the project aimed to inspire the next generation to embrace failure as a stepping stone to innovation.
